The story of Dolev Yahud R.I.P.

Dolev Yahud, a resident of Kibbutz Nir Oz, served as a medic in the Rescue Union and Magen David Adom.

Dolev Yehud is no longer classified as a hostage.

The IDF notified Dolev was murdered on October 7, when he went out to protect his home and was slaughtered by Hamas Terrorists.

Dolev Yahud, a resident of Kibbutz Nir Oz, served as a medic in the Rescue Union and Magen David Adom. During the terrorist attack, he left his home to assist and save lives.

Dolev was murdered by the Hamas terrorist organization on October 7,  and his body was found in Kibbutz Nir Oz. After an identification process performed by medical authorities at the National Institute of Forensic Medicine and the Abu Kabir Institute, IDF representatives informed the family.

Dolev (35) was thought to be captive, but It was suspected that he had been killed within Israel. In the last few days, remains of his body were located on Kibbutz Nir Oz, where he lived.

His sister Arbel Yahud (28) is still being held in captivity by Hamas in Gaza.

Dolev Z”L, 35, was a volunteer EMT on his Kibbutz Nir Oz and in the Ofakim region. On the morning of October 7, when the terror attack began and terrorists infiltrated the kibbutz, he left his family in the safe room, went to assist and save lives under fire, never to return. It was confirmed on Monday that he was murdered on the cursed Shabbat, and his body was found on the kibbutz, following a complex identification process.

Dolev Z”L was buried in the cemetery on Kibbutz Nir Oz. Dolev leaves a wife, four children, parents, a brother, and a sister, arbel Yahud (28) who is still held hostage by Hamas in Gaza.

MDA EMT and Nir Oz resident, Aryeh Itzik: “I’ve known Dolev since he studied with my daughter at school. He was known for his dedication and professionalism, and many people owe him their lives. His incredible smile is engraved on heart and I will never forget him.”

MDA EMT and Nir Oz resident, Giora Zehavi: “Dolev was a professional EMT, would attend every call in the area, no matter when, day or night, he was always the first on sight. He was well-liked and friendly, there was no-one inside or outside of the organization who didn’t like him.”

MDA Director General, Eli Bin: “Dolev Z”L was a dedicated volunteer who saved many lives, and fell on that dark Saturday while providing medical aid to those injured on the kibbutz. He was always on call, and responded to every call to which he was dispatched. During these difficult times, we strengthen and hold close Dolev’s family, and share their deep sorrow. May his memory be blessed.”

Our hearts go out to Dolev’s family, friends, and the community of Nir Oz.
