Uriel Bibi, 30, who had been an MDA youth volunteer, was killed while serving as an officer with the IDF paratroopers in Gaza.
Uriel was a Paratrooper officer, from Shlomit.
He had recently begun studies in emergency medicine to become a paramedic. He was known for his humanity.
Uriel began his journey at MDA as a youth volunteer, went through many trainings, and was an active volunteer in the Yarkon and Negev region of Magen David Adom. He recently began his studies in emergency medicine at Ben Gurion University in the Negev in order to become a paramedic.
MDA paramedic Gal Grander, who mentored him, as his course instructor, said: “I met Uriel about 13 years ago when he was a trainee of mine. He was one of the outstanding trainees, characterized by humanity and human relations, and a man of values. I loved him very much, everyone loved him very much. Although his military service was very intense, he never abandoned MDA and helping others, he always tried to find time to join the ambulance shifts to save lives.”
