President of Israel Visits Magen David Adom

The Israeli President visited Magen David Adom’s National Operations Center this morning: “I want to say thank you on behalf of all of Israel for your non-stop life-saving efforts during this intense period that we are facing. Be strong and brave.” // MDA Director General: “Bloodthirsty murderers and seriously injured have killed thousands of people. We are here to save lives"

Today, the President of the State of Israel, Isaac Herzog, alongside his wife Mrs. Michal Herzog, visited the MDA National Operations Center in Kiryat Ono. They met with the hardworking MDA paramedics, EMTs, and doctors who tirelessly respond to every medical call and need. They interacted with the MDA teams that have been operating under fire in the Western Negev Communities, learning about their brave endeavors as they risk their lives to save others.

During the visit, President Herzog was briefed by MDA General Director, Eli Bin, on the organization’s operations since the war’s onset and the innovative tools being utilized to maximize the safety of both the teams and the casualties they attend to.

Towards the end of his visit, addressing all the Magen David Adom teams via radio, President Herzog expressed his profound admiration, saying, “I wish to extend my gratitude on behalf of the entire nation of Israel. For your relentless efforts, heroism, generosity, compassion, and life-saving actions that persist even amidst this challenging war.”

MDA General Director, Eli Bin, responded: “Magen David Adom stands united with the State of Israel in this imposed war. These ruthless assailants have inflicted harm and death upon thousands, including our very own MDA EMTs and paramedics who had gloves on their hands and were solely intent on saving lives. Our core mission is to save lives. A heartfelt thank you goes out to every Israeli citizen, particularly our blood donors who have come forward promptly in this hour of need. Their donations have proven crucial in saving numerous lives. We constantly collaborate with the IDF and security forces. Our purpose is clear – to save lives.”
