Shir Biton – MDA EMT – Killed in Operation Iron Swords

DF soldier and MDA volunteer, Shir Biton, was killed in battle in the Western Negev Communities | Director General of MDA: “Shir was a heroic EMT, Magen David Adom bows its head and mourns her loss.”

Magen David Adom mourns the passing of Shir Biton, 19 years old at the time of her death, a resident of Ashdod, who was killed in a battle with terrorists in the Western Negev Communities.

Shir volunteered at MDA for four years. She completed an EMT course and from the moment she enlisted in the IDF she aspired to serve as a frontline EMT, and achieved this goal when she finished the EMT course in the IDF.

Ido Lotti, a friend of Shir Biton: “Shir was a smart girl, everyone’s friend. She did a lot at MDA, she was a good and caring friend, all her friends and acquaintances mourn her.”

MDA Director General Eli Bin paid tribute to Shir Biton: “Shir was a dedicated EMT who contributed a lot to the State of Israel. The volunteers and employees of MDA mourn her passing, bow their heads, and offer their condolences to the grieving family, may her memory be blessed.”
